Dundee FC’s players celebrate with Randy Orton’s RKO
We are in Scotland and in tenth matchday of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division in the Country, Dundee FC is 0-1 up at Motherwell when at 30′ the advanced midfielder Gary Harkins added a second one for The Dark Blues; then he celebrated the goal in a very particular way, because he performed a RKO on his teammate Jim McAlister.
Finally the match, played at Fyr Park, ended 1-3 to Dundee FC, that now is seventh in the table, while Motherwell FC is second last.
For the ones who didn’t know that, the RKO is the name of the finisher of the professional wrestler Randy Orton, who “fights” in the WWE League: RKO is the acronym of Randall Keith Orton, that is the full name of the fighter.
Usually, during its shows on TV, WWE advices the audience not to try to emulate the wrestlers, because they are professionists, and what they do can be very dangerous for normal people, so the slogan “don’t try this at home” is very common during this kind of shows.
In this case the warning has surely failed, maybe WWE should start using “don’t try this at home and on the football pitch” !
The video of this celebration finally came to Randy Orton himself, that appreciated the celebration, but found the footballers’ form quite poor !
