Auckland City FC during Winter market (Summer in Oceania) is a bit different team from the one we had introduced you for 2013 FIFA Club World Cup, but the most experienced player is always captain Ivan Vichelich (37, central back, captain of New Zealandese NT, with whom he has played 88 matches and scored 6 goals so far, playing 2010 World Cup too; in the past he had a decent caereer in the Dutch top tier with RKC and Roda JC), while other important players are: Tamati Williams (29, second GK of Neozelandese NT), Mario Bilen (28, defender, with a good experience in Croatian top tier), Ángel Berlanga (27, Spanish central back), Darren White (25, English winger), Chris(topher) Bale (31, Welsh midfielder, almost namesake with Batman’s actor) and strikers João Moreira (28, Portuguese, he collected few games in Primeira Liga) and, most of all, Emiliano Tade (26, the Argentinian top scorer of the team with 22 goals in 20 matches in this season).
Amicale FC is a very international Club, because in its squad we can find players from all over the world: three Serbians, three Fijians, 2 Solomonians, an Australian, a Scottish, a Nigerian and an Italian: we don’t know why Europeans and Africans went to Vanuatu to play football, maybe they’ve played in Australia befor being noticed from the club from Vanuatu.
The star of the team should be Marko Djordjevic, a 30-year-old central back with a decent past as a regular starter in Serbian (FK Napredak Kruševac and FK Jagodina) and Kazakh first tier (FC Kairat e FC Okzhetpes), while other important element could be: Colin Marshall, 29-year-old Scottish defender with a decent experience in Scotland (St. Johnstone, Dundee FC and Falkirk), Iceland and Japan, the captain Nelson Sale Kilifa, 27-year-old Solomonian defender, 25-year-old Serbian striker Nikola Vasilic and 21-year-old Vanuatuan midfielder Dominique Fred.
AMICALE FC – AUCKLAND CITY FC 1-1
75′ Fred – 29′ Tade.
An 1-1 away draw is a positive result for the Club from New Zealand, that looks a little bit favorite to clinch the Title: anyway Amicale FC has still plenty of chances to win its first International Trophy and to fly to Morocco.
