10 red cards in a youth match in Italy !
This picture refers to a junior match between River Plate and Boca Junior.
We are in Bacoli, near Naples, Italy, and the junior teams of Sibilla Soccer and Puetolana 1909 were playing not only a local Derby at Tony Chiovato Stadium, but battling for the top of the table as well.
The mach was very nervous, but, after a foul at 70′, a player from Puetolana reacted against one from Sibilla and a big general fight began on the pitch, involving players and coaches, and on the stands their parents’ behaviour wasn’t much different, so that the refeere had to send off 10 players,5 for each team, and to whistle the end of the match before the 90th minute.
But it hasn’t been over yet, because another fight started in the locker room, and the situation came back to normality just after the arrival of Carabinieri (one kind of Italian police) from the towns of Bacoli and Pozzuoli. A Puetolana player had to go to the hospital of Pozzuoli because he had been (not seriously) harmed during the fights
THIS IS THE FOOTBALL WE LIKE ! ! !
